Childminder- Child care Kettering (Ise Lodge)
About UsMy name is Carol and I own a large home on the Ise Lodge estate in Kettering. I have been childminding for 20 years and have a wealth of experience caring from 0-11 years old. I have also cared for children with special needs and can adapt the facilities accordingly. From July 2012 my daughter will be joining me so a number of vacancies will be available in time for the summer. My daughter had recently qualified as a teacher specialising in early childhood education, development and care. Our partnership will enable us to provide children with a caring safe environment, where they can meet friends, learn through exciting opportunities using a variety of age appropriate resources which will enhance their development. For the older children we offer a large garden trampoline, games including air hockey and table football as well as games consoles which they can enjoy with their friends before and after school. We are able to pick up and drop off school children at Kingsley Primary School and Nursery, Millbrook Infants School, Rainbow Pre-School and if specially requested we can also pick up and drop off at other Schools and Nursery's in Kettering. We offer extremely reasonable rates, (cheapest in Kettering!) and are flexible meaning we can accommodate most parents work hours. We are available from 6am-6pm, although evening and weekend care can also be arranged. Please feel free to give us a call if you are interested and you are welcome to pop round for coffee and a biscuit to see what you think! |
Further Information
As well as providing a great home environment with lots of fun things for children to do, we also visit the local community with children, attending mums and tots sessions, local fun days and special visits fro children including Wicksteed park, kids play and cheeky monkeys.
Children usually bring a packed lunch if they are here for the day, although meals can be provided if necessary. Children are welcome to bring hot food in their lunches and we will happily prepare this for them.
If we are able to increase our numbers, we are hoping to expand the play room so that children have even more things to do when they are here.
If you wold like to know more just give us a call and we will be happy to answer any questions. (see 'contacts us' for details).
Testimonials
" It is a great feeling, knowing that when you drop your children off they are going to have fun and are happy to run inside without hesitation. It makes going to work and leaving them a lot easier!" Laura, Kettering
"I found it difficult dropping my son at nursery every day as he didn't seem to settle. I decided to look at childminders in the local area and I decided to go for a visit and a look around. Within half an hour my Son was playing on the trampoline with another child in the garden. I sat and chatted with Carol and Laura while the children played outside. I knew that the setting would be a much more suitable place for my child then nursery as he could get more support from adults and access a range of resources without constantly having to compete with other children. My child is now 10 and still attends every day before and after school. He loves it and will be extremely sad when the time comes for him to leave as it has been like a second home to him throughout his childhood. I would definitely recommend this setting for children of all ages as it is such a happy, loving place for children of all ages to grow up in." Tracey, Kettering
